FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The mother of Fresno’s Mayor Jerry Dyer has passed away, the mayor confirmed on Tuesday.
The passing of Jerry Dyer’s mother, Anna, comes seven weeks after the passing of his father, Don.

In a post on Facebook on Tuesday, Mayor Jerry Dyer wrote that his mother “went home to be with the Lord this morning,” adding that Anna had passed away in her sleep after battling health issues for many years.
I will miss her dearly. She has been a loving, nurturing and protective mother my entire life.
