GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A dramatic video released by the Kent County Sheriff’s Office Monday shows a short-lived chase involving deputies and a man wanted on assault charges.
Before noon on April 7, deputies tried to stop the car of a man wanted on suspicion of committing a felonious assault the night before, the department wrote in the clip posted to social media. The driver, a 39-year-old Kent County man, failed to stop, leading deputies on a chase from Kalamazoo Avenue SE near M-6 down Eastport Drive just south of Kentwood.
