INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is warning Hoosiers about a scam that is urging individuals to pay the Marion County Traffic Court.
Scammers are sending a fake document with an imitation Indiana State Seal and a bogus address to the court, according to an alert from IMPD. The correct address is the Criminal Justice Center at 675 Justice Way.
Further, police share that any legitimate document that you receive should be addressed directly to you, and it will not be sent by e-mail or text.
