Man pleads guilty to crime spree through multiple counties

(WBRE/WYOU) — A man who police said led them on a high-speed police chase through multiple counties has pleaded guilty to the charges against him.

Isaac Cintron, of Chicago, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault stemming from a high-speed police chase that started in Butler Township, Luzerne County, and ended in Barnesville, Schuylkill County.

In December 2024, police tried to stop a stolen vehicle in Butler Township. The driver, Cintron, fled the area, got out of the car, fired shots, then ran on foot, PSP reported. Cintron was found driving in a different stolen car on Interstate 80, and state police tried to pull him over, but he ignored them, causing a chase to begin, police stated.
