Tea, SD man sentenced after trafficking nearly 200 lbs of meth in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A Tea, SD man has been sentenced following a conviction of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance in February.

48-year-old Matthew Shade was sentenced to 21 years and 6 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

“In all likelihood, the fentanyl and methamphetamine seized from this criminal’s operation would have killed some people who are alive right now in Sioux Falls. This investigation, prosecution, and substantial federal prison sentence has given them another chance at life,” said U.S. Attorney Ron Parsons…
