LANE COUNTY, Ore. — A motorcyclist was killed and another seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 126 in western Oregon, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 1:54 p.m. near milepost 2.7, according to the Oregon State Police.
Investigators said a white Volvo 240, driven by Lorna Marie Trujillo, 50, of Florence, had slowed to a stop in the eastbound lane to make a left turn into a mobile home park near Rose Hill Road when it was struck from behind by a green Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail motorcycle operated by Brandon Taylor Oetken, 38, of Florence.
