Mass. housing leader addresses taxpayer funds for ‘tenant from hell’

The leader of Massachusetts’ housing agency emphasized the importance of program integrity and said officials “act swiftly” to address examples that call into question how taxpayer funds are used to provide rental assistance.

Secretary Juana Matias, who recently took the leadership role at the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, made the remarks in the wake of an NBC10 Boston investigation last month.
