Meeka Owens wins tight race for Hamilton County commissioner nomination

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – One of the most closely watched races of the night in Hamilton County was the Democratic primary for county commissioner, where Cincinnati City Council member Meeka Owens and Herman Najoli challenged incumbent Stephanie Summerow Dumas.

In the end, Owens won the race with 52% of the vote. Dumas finished with 41%. Najoli with 7%.
