HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The City of Huntsville is putting more than $400,000 toward local efforts to fight homelessness and keep families housed through new Emergency Solutions Grant funding.
The money will support nonprofit organizations that provide emergency shelter, housing assistance and other critical services for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing housing. Funding is provided through the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
