For Alex Lillenberg, becoming a foster parent was never really a question.
She and her husband, Austin, met in college at Westmont, where they first talked about the idea of caring for children in need. While there, Alex came across a Bible verse about caring for widows and orphans and laughed at the irony of sitting in class while God seemed to be nudging them to take action.
