SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) —Many students are excited for school to get out, but with summertime comes uncertainty for some children.
“Our programs, as well as the programs of our agency partners are going to see that increase in people coming in for food assistance. Just because they lack that access to the school meal program that their kids have been able to take advantage of throughout the year,” Feeding SD community engagement manager Jennifer Stensaas said.
