EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The City of Evansville announced plans to install a new splash pad at Iglehart Park, located at the former Lloyd Pool site. The splash pad is expected to be the largest in Indiana.
The project is funded as part of the $24 million Parks Bond approved in 2024. Construction is scheduled to begin this month with substantial completion anticipated in late summer.
“We are committed to making sure every neighborhood has access to safe, beautiful parks,” Mayor Stephanie Terry said. “This project brings new life to a space so many families remember and reimagines it for the next generation.
