(KRON) — A Redwood City man who was convicted last month of child molestation and sexual battery against 12-year-old and 16-year-old girls has been sentenced.
Abraham Perez Cisneros, 46, was handed a five-year prison sentence on Tuesday by San Mateo County Judge Kevin Dunleavy. He received 33 days of credit for time served. Cisneros was also ordered to register as a sex offender, have no contact with the victims for 10 years and pay $15,000 in restitution to one of the victims, according to prosecutors. The restitution amount to be paid to the second victim has not yet been determined.
Following a 10-day trial and two days of jury deliberations, Cisneros was found guilty on April 8 of three counts of felony child molestation, three counts of misdemeanor child molestation and three counts of misdemeanor sexual battery. The jury deadlocked on an additional felony child molestation charge, the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office said.
