Coarsegold, CA (May 6, 2026) — A Merced man and three passengers from Merced were transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno after an early morning crash involving two vehicles and a horse on State Route 41 south of Mecca Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on May 6, 2026, at approximately 3:57 a.m. south of Coarsegold.
