SPRINGFIELD, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies say they arrested a man in the Battle Creek area who was in a car stolen out of metro Detroit.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says deputies spotted the stolen a little before 5 a.m. Tuesday on W. Dickman Road near Avenue A in Springfield.
The driver, a 38-year-old Battle Creek man whose name was not released Wednesday, was jailed for being in possession of a stolen car and operating without a valid license. Deputies added they found an unregistered handgun in the car and were pursuing an additional charge for that…
