Two former West Memphis police officers decertified

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two former West Memphis police officers who were fired last year over allegations of sexual misconduct were decertified by an Arkansas state board.

Treasure Gaither and Stacey Allen were decertified by a unanimous vote, said Nick Gentry, deputy communications director with the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.

However, Blake Forthman’s decertification was denied by unanimous vote. Mose Walker’s hearing was continued until Aug. 11.
