Corpus Christi man arrested after alleged Rockport crime spree

ROCKPORT, Texas — A Corpus Christi man is behind bars after police say a string of burglaries and vehicle thefts unfolded across Rockport on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Rockport Police Department, officers first responded around 12:46 p.m. Tuesday to the 300 block of South 6th Street for a reported burglary of a habitation. Investigators gathered information at the scene, including a description of the suspect.

A little more than an hour later, officers were called to the 2800 block of Business 35 North for a burglary of a vehicle. While investigating, another victim reported her vehicle had just been stolen. Around the same time, police also received a report of another burglary of a habitation in the 300 block of South 7th Street…
