Yesterday afternoon, I sat my kids — my 17-year-old daughter and my 13-year-old son — down to tell them about something that happened at a Northgate bus stop on Monday. And I had to tell them something I should have been telling them all along.

Police said a 35-year-old man rode up on a bicycle to a 15-year-old girl waiting for her bus to school. He told her she was beautiful. Asked how old she was. She told him 15. She is a 10th grader.
He told her to walk into the woods next to the bus stop. She refused. Then he gave her a command…
