Presumed guilty? Carson City’s bail policy questioned after viewer spends 13 days in jail

RENO, Nev. — Daniel Parrish of Reno says he experienced a nightmare that cost him financially and added unnecessary stress to his life.

Parrish spent two weeks in jail and lost his job after he was accused by Carson City’s Department of Alternative Sentencing of violating his parole. But he insists there was no violation and claims Alternative Sentencing violated his rights by having him locked up.

Parrish admitted he made a mistake by getting arrested on a drug charge in 2024. But he said, he was putting his life back together, working at Panasonic and submitting clean urine samples for months. He even showed us the records of his drug tests as proof…
