Hamilton County OKs joint purchase of Scout-owned land near Enterprise South

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Hamilton County commissioners approved a joint land purchase Wednesday night, agreeing to buy a 19-acre tract next to Enterprise South Nature Park alongside the City of Chattanooga.

The purchase will cost the city and county about $525,000.

The county will cover roughly half the cost, using recreation grant funding.
