Louisville Tool Library builds connection beyond borrowed gear

The Louisville Tool Library is a volunteer-run nonprofit centered on tool sharing, accessibility, waste reduction and education. While lending tools remains at the heart of its work, the organization has also become a gathering place for workshops, events and community connection.

LPM’s Ayisha Jaffer spoke with Katherine Keeney, one of the founding volunteers of the Louisville Tool Library, about how the organization works and the role it now plays beyond just borrowing tools.
