NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Many businesses are closing their doors across Nashville, some blame rising property tax bills, but now a group is raising questions.
The founder of the Nashville Property Tax Coalition, Christian Paro, said no one can survive the increases.
“We’re at 303 as of this morning,” he said, referring to the number of businesses that have signed up for the coalition. “It’s actually hard for me to keep up with. The last time I updated it was last week—Thursday—and we were at 287.”
