The Oswego Village Board approved an economic incentive agreement Tuesday for EJ Vision LLC at 5 South Madison St., supporting improvements needed to convert a vacant former car care building into a restaurant space for Billy Bricks Pizza.
The agreement was approved after Economic Development Director Kevin Leighty outlined the property’s history, the condition of the building, the planned upgrades and staff’s recommendation. The building is known to some longtime Oswego residents as the former Keith’s Car Care building.
Leighty said the property has been used for several businesses over the years, including Dusty Road Merchants, Garden Faire and, most recently, Jinxie’s. Jinxie’s closed in 2023, and the building has been vacant since then…
