Altamont’s annual Village-Wide Sale was held this past weekend and was a terrific success from what I saw. So what’s the issue that the village has against this popular event?
I was raised that when you invite people over you make accommodations for them, simple decency but in the case of the village of Altamont that is obviously overlooked. The mayor and the chief of police have made it their job to discourage such fun— from parking, harassment, and fees.
