HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Newburgh man accused of soliciting nude photographs from a juvenile in exchange for favors reportedly confessed to investigators that he had been doing so for approximately two years.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance in the 7400 block of Camp Brosend Road after a juvenile called saying that a man, identified by authorities as Matthew Scarbrough, 36, had grabbed a knife during an argument. After arriving at the scene, authorities say they learned that the incident occurred because Scarbrough had been soliciting nude photographs of a juvenile, and he was placed in handcuffs.
Arresting documents say Scarbrough solicited the nude photographs in exchange for money or snacks. However, investigators say he later confessed to having sexual contact with the juvenile when they were approximately 13-years-old.
Scarbrough was booked into the Warrick County Jail on multiple charges, including sexual misconduct with a minor and child solicitation. He is being held on a $5,000 cash bond…
