CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WJAR) — You can’t walk down Broad Street in Central Falls with Mayor Maria Rivera without someone beeping or yelling “Maria!”
Rivera is greeted by a hug when she walks into the clothing store across from city hall, a true woman of the people. Looking at a dress on display she jokes. “I love that, but it will never fit me.”
She is proud of Central Falls and knows the people as she walks into the hair salon where she gets her hair done…
