MILWAUKEE Tamirat Mills, the man convicted in the 2022 homicides of two brothers in Brown Deer, was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday, May 7.

Mills, 22, was found guilty at trial of two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

He was sentenced to two consecutive life terms on the homicide counts, without eligibility for release to extended supervision. He also has to pay nearly $8,000 in restitution.
