The Chief of Police of the City of Madison Police Department tendered his resignation to the Madison city council on Monday, May 4. Jeffrey Bridick will assume a new position with the City of Trenton after May 18. Bridick served in various roles with the city for the past 41 years.
Upon acceptance of the resignation, Mayor Hamm appointed Dennis Laboray to the position of Chief. He was presented with his badge by the mayor.
