Multiple children injured in Ferguson car crash, police say

FERGUSON, Mo. — A multi-vehicle crash in Ferguson on Thursday resulted in the hospitalization of multiple children, according to a city police department spokesperson.

Police and emergency crews responded to the scene near the intersection of Hereford and North Florissant Road at around 12:45 p.m. 5 On Your Side crews at the scene saw one SUV crashed near a traffic light pole and another with a wrecked front bumper.

A Ferguson Police Department spokesperson told 5 On Your Side that multiple children were injured in the crash. In an afternoon update, police said 6 children age 14 and under and two adults were all transported for medical evaluation. Police did not have information on severity of the injuries…
