AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – An Akron animal shelter has answered a nationwide call to help find homes for hundreds of beagles.
The animals were taken from a company in Wisconsin that was raising the dogs for medical and bio-tech research.

One of a Kind Pet Rescue in Akron is one of the many shelters that answered the call to help and sent two vans to bring back as many dogs as they could, more than three dozen.
