MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. — An Indiana man has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his girlfriend in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County District Attorney’s Office, evidence at trial shows that 36-year-old Colt Carroll brutally beat and strangled his girlfriend, Faleisha Thompson, in October 2023 before leaving her for dead in a ditch.
