61-year-old riding e-bike seriously injured after getting hit by car in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An investigation is underway after a 61-year-old man was seriously injured after being hit by a car Thursday evening while riding an electric bicycle in Warwick Township.

Just before 6 p.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional police were called to the intersection of Rothsville Road and Shirley Lane to investigate reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car.

At the scene, the police said they learned that the 61-year-old from Lititz was trying to cross the road when he was hit by a car reportedly driven by an 83-year-old Lancaster woman…
