Semi hauling frozen fries overturns on I-24, closing eastbound lanes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – An overturned semi-truck hauling frozen fries has closed Interstate 24 in Nashville.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation says the crash was reported just before 9:30 p.m.

The crash has closed the eastbound lanes as crews work to clean up the accident. TDOT said a diversion has been set up at Exit 40, Old Hickory Boulevard (SR 45).
