MARANA (AZFamily) — The collapse of Spirit Airlines continues to send shockwaves through the airlines industry, impacting thousands of customers and employees. Dismantling the discount air carrier is likely to take years and cost more than $200 million, according to new court filings.
After a last-ditch effort failed and Spirit Airlines prepared to close, Bob Allen with Nomadic Aviation Group got the call. The company handles private flight operations for the aircraft leasing industry and was hired to help move dozens of Spirit planes.
