Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo celebrates milestone 50th Anniversary

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo honors Buffalo’s rich cultural history, celebrating freedom and resilience. The 2026 Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo takes place June 13 and 14 at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Buffalo.

This year’s Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo is celebrating a historic 50th anniversary with the theme of “Honoring the past, Serving the Present, Inspiring the Future”. This year’s Juneteenth Festival will have all the traditional festival activities and entertainment including the Juneteenth Parade, 10am on Saturday, June 13, a festival highlight you don’t want to miss. The Juneteenth Parade begins 10am at Genesee & Ivy Streets and continues down Genesee Street to Fillmore Ave and MLK Jr. Park.

All are welcome to take part in this long-running summertime tradition in Western New York. Festival activities include Arts & Cultural displays and performances, Health & Wellness pavilion, Historical tours & education programs, vendor market, Food and much more!…
