HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville City Schools is expanding its Artemis Virtual Academy to students across a five-county region beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, opening enrollment beyond district lines for the first time.
Huntsville City Schools officials say the move follows growing demand from families seeking flexible online learning options. The Huntsville City Board of Education recently approved updates to the district’s admissions policy allowing eligible students in Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan counties to apply.
