New medical center opens in east Collier County ending a health care desert

Residents in rapidly growing eastern Collier County have a shorter commute to medical care with the opening of Healthcare Network’s location in Orangetree.

The $15-million Van Domelen Community Health Center means an end to the region being a health care desert for the 41,000 residents in the region.
