NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — An unidentified man was struck and killed by a train Saturday afternoon while walking on a railroad bridge over the Harpeth River.
Authorities responded to the railroad crossing at McCrory Lane and Highway 70.
The train conductor reported that he blew his horn when he saw the man on the tracks and that he began to run on the bridge toward the other side, according to deputies.
