New Virginia Tech commit hypes up James Franklin in the best way possible

Things are heating up and heating up quickly on the recruiting trail with the Class of 2027. First-year Virginia Tech football coach James Franklin had a lot of success in recruiting while he was at Penn State, regardless of what the Nittany Lions fans want to say or the narrative they take.

Anyway, since he’s been in Blacksburg for six months, recruiting has been taken to a different level than it has been recently. Virginia Tech is on the recruits that they normally wouldn’t have been in on under the previous two staffs. Whether it’s the Class of 2026 or Class of 2027, recruiting is taking a major turn for the Hokies.

Late on Thursday night, while a lot of fans might have been sleeping or watching the softball team put the finishing touches on an ACC Tournament win over Virginia, 3-1, to advance to the semifinals, Franklin struck it big in recruiting.
