Goodwill Industries in San Diego and Imperial counties are expanding their sustainability efforts by accepting soft plastics for recycling at select donation centers throughout the two counties.
The nonprofit agency has been “Making Good Happen” since 1930, and it is well-known for its retail stores and outlet centers which offer a variety of used merchandise, including clothing, home decor, housewares, furniture and much more, in order to generate revenue for free employment programs and services.
Now, community members are also learning that Goodwill is committed to making good happen for the planet…
