PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A Cook County man was sentenced to six months in jail and probation in connection with an accidental shooting at Bradley University dorm last fall that injured a woman.
Edward Traywick Jr., 20, of Lansing, pleaded guilty in February to reckless discharge of a firearm. He was sentenced Friday by Judge Sean Donahue to 30 months of probation and ordered to serve 180 days in the Peoria County Jail.
Without the plea, he could have faced up to three years in prison.
