PORTLAND, OR – The Salvation Army Gresham Corps and Community Center will host its annual plant sale May 9-10 to support local community programs and help students attend a regional music competition in Los Angeles.
The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the center, 473 S.E. 194th Avenue in Portland. Organizers said shoppers can expect a selection of trees, shrubs, hedges and shade plants. Proceeds will benefit the center’s community programs and food pantry.
Students from the Gresham Music Academy also will sell food and beverages during the event to raise money for the Encore! 2026 Music and Arts Celebration, scheduled for June 13 in Los Angeles…
