ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Capital District Transportation Authority is providing complimentary shuttle service to the 78th annual Tulip Festival in Albany’s Washington Park.
The service will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10. It can be found at the following three locations:
- Elk Street Parking Lot (behind the State Education Building): Pick up at thecorner of Elk and Hawk streets. Free parking is available.
- Eagle Street Parking Lot (Eagle Street and Madison Avenue): Free parking isavailable.
- Albany Medical Center Parking Lot (off Robin Street): This location is designatedfor customers requiring additional assistance or using mobility devices. Drop-off willbe at the Madison Avenue/New Scotland Avenue park entrance.
Shuttles will run approximately every 20 to 25 minutes, traffic depending.
The Tulip Festival is held every year over Mother’s Day weekend. The event includes over 100 artisans selling their crafts, a wide selection of food vendors, a Kid Zone family destination, four live entertainment stages, and a newly expanded wellness area with more than 20 vendors, free classes and workshops…
