Their missing dog was held for ransom. Now Macomb County family has him back

WARREN, Mich. – A Macomb County family’s missing dog was held for ransom by someone who refused to return the pet without payment.

A 21-year-old Warren man was charged with receiving and concealing stolen property valued at $200 to $1,000, a one-year misdemeanor. We aren’t identifying him because he hasn’t been charged with a felony or a violent crime.
