Taunton‘s Silver City Galleria was once a hub for SouthCoast residents. It was a place to shop for clothes, music, books, and toys, grab a meal, catch a film, see Santa and the Easter Bunny, or even take a course at the on-site Bristol Community College satellite campus.
The mall was reduced to dust in 2021 after closing in 2020, but the future is rising through the rubble that was once one of the region’s most popular shopping centers.
After several false starts, the property is being redeveloped into what the Boston Business Journal‘s Grant Welker called a “logistics complex called Silver City Business Park.” Welker said the new owner “has secured the first tenant for its new industrial development.”…
