ROBSTOWN, Texas — The board of the Nueces River Authority met Friday morning in Robstown, where members entered a nearly three-hour executive session to discuss allegations made by the agency’s chief operating officer.
According to the meeting agenda, board members discussed possible disciplinary action connected to allegations made by COO Travis Pruski. Among other claims, Pruski has alleged the authority misrepresented how much water had already been pre-sold for the proposed Harbor Island desalination project and said he was shut out of budgetary decisions despite that being apart of his role.
