Ellender Memorial High School senior state champion track and field athlete Markus Thomas was 10 years old when his father, Quentin Thomas, died in a car accident in March 2018.
While his father’s physical form is gone, the now 18-year-old Markus said he feels his spirit with him every time he steps on a track to compete.
