COLLINSVILLE, Okla. – A fast-moving storm dumped heavy hail across Collinsville, leaving piles of ice along highways, in yards and across downtown streets. News On 6 crews saw multiple vehicles damaged by the storm, including broken windshields caused by both the size of the hail and the volume that fell in a short amount of time.
Hail piles up at homes and businesses
For some residents, the storm was so intense that it briefly looked more like winter than spring.
“Hail or snow?” was a common question as ice accumulated outside homes and businesses.
