RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Reno city leaders are rolling out a new pilot program aimed at improving public safety in the city’s core, with a focus on helping businesses invest in security upgrades.
The initiative, called ReSecure, will use redevelopment funds to support safety-focused improvements for property owners and small businesses in Reno’s two redevelopment areas. City officials say the program builds on the success of Restore Reno, which helped property owners improve the appearance of their buildings. Now, the emphasis is shifting toward safety.
