2 more teenagers arrested after Joe Dancer Park shooting in McMinnville

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — Two more teenagers have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a McMinnville park that left one person hospitalized.

The McMinnville Police Department said two more suspects, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, were arrested Friday and Thursday. The 17-year-old was charged with third-degree assault and riot, both felony charges, while the 16-year-old was charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and a riot felony charge.

The recent charges bring the total number of arrests to 10 stemming from an April 28 incident where officers responded to a fight involving multiple people at Joe Dancer Park. A gunshot had also been heard, and one person was transported to Willamette Valley Medical Center for a gunshot wound that was not expected to be life-threatening…
